What do I get on the Free plan?
The Free plan gives you 4 lifetime credits — enough to try Reels, carousels, AI Editing uploads, and AI Clips extractions (1 credit each). Premium features (AI Avatar and long-form video, 5 credits each) are locked until you upgrade. Free outputs carry a small "Made with Vidpal.ai" watermark; paid plans remove it. It's a no-commitment way to see the whole AI studio before subscribing.
Do you offer a free trial?
Our Free plan IS the trial — 4 lifetime credits, no credit card required. We don't offer time-limited paid trials because each video costs us real compute (rendering, AI, storage). Compared to paying freelancers thousands or spending hours editing yourself, Vidpal is by far the most economical way to ship daily short-form content at scale.
What if I run out of credits for the month?
You have two options: upgrade to a bigger plan (best value if you'll consistently need more) or top up with a credit pack directly in the app. Either way, your topics, brand voice, and pipeline stay intact — you don't lose any setup.

Pay annually and you get a deep discount versus the monthly rate. Starter drops from $19/mo to $12/mo (billed $144/year). Pro drops from $39/mo to $23/mo (billed $276/year). Which plan should I pick?
Starter is for solo creators starting out — 15 credits a month, daily auto-generated content, no watermark. Pro is the sweet spot for most users: 40 credits, twice-daily auto-gen, priority rendering, every AI tool. Business is for high-volume creators and small teams who need 100 credits, three daily slots, highest priority rendering, and priority 24-hour support. You can change plans any time without losing your topics, brand voice, or content.
How do credits work?
Credits are a single shared pool you spend any way you want. 1 credit covers a Reel, an image carousel, an AI Editing upload, or 10 minutes of AI Clips source video. 5 credits covers an AI Avatar generation or a long-form video. No per-format limits — if you want to spend an entire month's allowance on AI Avatars, you can. Plan allowances are 15 credits/mo (Starter), 40 credits/mo (Pro), and 100 credits/mo (Business).
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing, and downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and don't carry over to the next month, so use them while they're fresh. Annual plans are billed up-front but the credits are delivered as a yearly pool, so you have flexibility within the 12-month window. Credit packs purchased on top of your plan are valid for 60 days from purchase.
Can I publish my videos to social media?
Yes — every Reel, carousel, AI Editing render, and AI Clip lands in your Library where you can download the file or share to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and X with a click. You stay in control of when each piece goes out, and the AI curator keeps feeding you fresh content from your topics every day in the background.
Can I review content before sharing?
Yes. Every Reel, long-form video, carousel, AI Avatar, and AI Clip lands in your Library by default — preview the render, edit the caption, tweak overlays, regenerate sections, then download or share when you're happy. Nothing leaves Vidpal until you approve it.
Is the AI-generated content unique and SEO-friendly?
Yes. Vidpal combines GPT-4o curation with your brand voice config to generate scripts, hooks, and captions tailored to your niche — never templated or duplicated. Each script is grounded in real source articles with attribution links, so content stays original and search-engine friendly. We dedupe every scraped story by SHA-256 URL hash so you never render the same article twice.
Are my payments secure?
All payments are processed through Dodo Payments — a PCI-compliant merchant of record that handles billing, tax, and compliance in 100+ countries. We never store your card details on our servers; everything is tokenized and handled by Dodo directly. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express).
Can I get a refund?
Your satisfaction is our top priority. If it's been less than 30 days since your payment, we'll happily refund the unused portion of your credits — no questions asked. Just email support@vidpal.ai and we'll take care of the rest.
